Put Me in Coach
It's painfully obvious that what little photo skills I had acquired during my bouts with the 30 for 30 are gone. I guess that's what happens when you spend a week sitting on your butt in pajamas alternating between reading and watching sports.
The fella and I are willing to sit and watch just about any sport that you put in front of us. But Saturday takes the cake. We spent the day with friends watching not one soccer game, not one basketball game, but thanks to the power of TiVo, we watched three soccer games and multiple March Madness games. If that's not madness, I don't know what is.
Tonight, we move to Dancing with the Stars. Normally, the fella wants nothing to do with that show. But last week something magical happened. HE put it on. Then I remembered his favorite football player, Hines Ward, is shaking his stuff and flashing his lovable smile on the dance floor this time around. With the threat of a canceled NFL season looming, he needs to soak up all the Hines he can get.
Of course, if the season is canceled, I can do my part to fill the void. This dress, when worn layered under a thin shirt, gives me some nice looking shoulder pads. I'll be taking applications for the BFL (blogger football league) this fall. No experience necessary. The only blocking you'll need to be able to do is color blocking.
